I don’t know why but I get a kick out of that this is journal prompts number 17 on the first month of 2017. Oh, it’s the little things in life right?
As I mentioned last month, journaling has been put on the back burner for me. But with the craziness of the holiday season being over and a new year beginning, I fully intent to get it back in to my routine. I’d love to hear how you keep yourself accountable for journaling on a consistent basis. Do you journal daily? A few times a week? Whenever you feel like it? Is there a specific time of day you feel works best for you?
Please share your thoughts and tips in the comments section below. Thank you in advance =)
Before we move on to this month’s set of journal prompts, I’d like to share a quote I came across pertaining to daily reflection and learning from our day to day.
Most people are just trying to get through the day, never writing anything down, never keeping track of their progress along the way; never really knowing if they are doing all they can to reach their goals, to drive their ambition.
But gifted people learn to get from the day. They don’t let a day end without picking up some valuable experience, some emotional content, some idea that may positively affect their future. To get the most from the day, to learn the most from the day, you need to be able to reflect on the day. And how can you reflect on a day unless you recorded it in history?
- Jim Rohn
So whether you are recording daily, weekly, or monthly. I hope you learn to take the best from each day, to learn from your mistakes, and to cherish each of life’s moments.
Each month I try to provide you with a variety of prompts – some can be list starters, or memory retrievers. Some are light-hearted and fun while others are thought-provoking to dig a little deeper in to your soul.
