I’ve always loved the practice of journaling, but lately I haven’t made it a priority. Is it silly that I put it off because I just don’t want to write in such a pretty journal? After all once I scribble all in it it’ll start to look a tad bit messy.
Okay, you’re right. It’s absolutely ridiculous – I need to put that pen to paper!
With the craziness of the holidays here, keeping a journal is a great stress reducer and is one of the most powerful ways to practice self-care. Journaling can perk up your mood, and help you feel centered and calm. Let’s navigate our way through the holiday season (with our sanity intact) and end the year with a bang! Set aside a few minutes a day to show yourself some love.
Each month I try to provide you with a variety of prompts – some can be list starters, or memory retrievers. Some are light-hearted and fun while others are thought-provoking to dig a little deeper in to your soul.
