Anyone who knows me knows that I love dress up in a good costume. Because of my passion for costumes, I have always loved Halloween. Over the years I have transitioned from rotating a few fun costumes (witch, pirate, pumpkin) to shopping at consignment stores to piece my costume together. My favorite was a purple princess looking dress (puff sleeves with velvet and all) that I paired with my great grandmothers elbow length gloves to transform my self in to Rapunzel.
When I started looking for outfits for this years Sun and Moon costume inspiration I knew I wanted over the top pieces. These leggings make it look like your legs are dipped in liquid gold, the hair is big, and the colorful headpieces pull it all together. Working with the other talented ladies (Kim Bottalico, Maria Sommers, Pam Sommers, and Ali Wommack) allowed us to pull from each of our closets to accessorizes these looks with items we already owned. That’s one of my favorite challenges when it comes to costumes, creating with what you already have. But don’t worry I’ve linked up to where you can buy these pieces too if you don’t already own similar ones.
Now go play dress up!
xoxo
