It was a tradition of mine growing up that on Thanksgiving day I tore through all the ads to make my Christmas wish list. Me, being the organized Virgo that I am, typically went above and beyond to include what store to buy along with details of color, size, etc. Extreme? Yes, it probably was way overboard, but it helped my mom & grandma organize their holiday shopping trip and they knew exactly what to get making shopping quick and easy.

Receiving gifts can be fun, but don’t you think it’s even better to give something wonderful and see the delight on your friend or family member’s face? I love it and today I have a holiday shopping checklist to make gift giving easy.

Holiday gift shopping can be time-consuming and a tad overwhelming (the crowds!) so I hope this list will help you stay a little more organized this holiday season. Included is a place for each recipients name, gift idea, a spot on where to buy, a budget and a gift giving work flow. My favorite part of the checklist is being able to check off all the steps to getting your gift under the Christmas tree. You’ll be able to quickly see who you still need to buy for, what presents have arrived on your door step (thank you online shopping), and if it’s been wrapped and place under the tree (or sent off to your loved one’s tree).
It’s so fun to make a list and check it twice!
