Oh brunch! It’s become quite the phenomenon hasn’t it? But seriously, who doesn’t love to linger over a tasty meal? Bubbling mimosas, eggs benedict, a stack of warm pancakes (or french toast in my case). Weekend mornings never sounded more relaxed.
When I lived in Brooklyn brunch was a serious affair – I loved the fun energy that it provided. And because brunching is supposed to be a social event, you should look cute while chowing down 😉
This muted blush skirt is the softest! And the elastic waist means you can order that double stack of pancakes you were eyeing. Weekend brunch is all about leisure, I can see myself going from farmer’s market to dining al fresco in this outfit.
I’m all about being able to mix and match your wardrobe – pair the striped shirt (similar) with this skirt and heeled sandals for a polished look or pair with frayed hem jeans and flats for a more casual vibe. The soft color combination of blush and blue is just the right pop of color for Spring.
Let’s just take a minute to appreciate this hat, which I believe every girl needs in her closet for those long sunny, summer days. It’s as if a fedora and a wide brimmed sun hat had a baby, Pharrell would definitely approve.
Cheers to the weekend friends!
