What is it about a mug? I don’t know about you but typically I don’t form a bond with forks, knives, plates, bowls, but a good mug – oh yeah I fall in love. Whether you’re a coffee or tea drinker, pouring yourself a warm drink becomes somewhat of a ritual. A warm mug of coffee in the morning isn’t something I need, but its become part of my morning routine and I actually look forward to hitting that brew button, especially if it’s dripping in to one of my favorite mugs.
It’s funny how such things can hold so much sentimental value to us. Perhaps you got it as a gift (like this one I got last year for Christmas), a souvenir from a great trip, or is adorned with your initial. Mugs are one of those things that make a personal statement, like your favorite t-shirt.
Thank goodness for technology these days, we are no longer restrained to shopping within our city limits, there’s a great big world of online shopping waiting for us. Did your heart just flutter like mine? Truth be told, mugs can be found in a million of different shops, but I’m always on the look out for some pretty ones to add to my collection. And what better time to add to the collection than cozy fall, I’ve rounded up twelve of my favorite mugs from four of my favorite retailers. No need to be located close to any of these shops, they all offer online shopping!

Anthropologie is a go to shop of mine and with great reason, they always have a beautifully curated home goods collection, like this tea mug that can be used for a variety of purposes. Their virtual shelves are filled with artist collaboration mugs, making each one feel one of a kind. And I can’t forget Anthro’s initial mugs, if I had enough room, I’d probably have a collection of K mugs.

Target used to be a place I went for basic white dishes – they had pretty personality, like this white mug, but Target has really started to step up its game. And I’m sure with the new Hearth & Hand collection debuting in November their home goods line will be a game changer. If you’re attracted to fun sayings on your mugs Target has your back and I’m loving the tin cup style of the warm and cozy mug – can’t you just see yourself curled up with a cup of hot cocoa and a good book?

Looking for a mug with out all the fuss? West Elm has some great classic mugs, the rich blue tone of the third mug (which comes as a set) would look beautiful on your fall tablescape. But don’t worry West Elm isn’t just about the classic every day pieces, their Fishs Eddy line packs a fun punch, like the I love you coffee mug.

World Market I’ve come to associate with stores like Home Goods, they always have a rotating selection so if you see something you love grab it because there’s no guarantee it will be there on your next visit. Their mugs have plenty of style, just look at how adorable that cat mug is! And the value can’t be beat – the set of four blush pink mugs is only $13.96 at the moment, comes in various colors, and you can buy coordinating dinnerware. Say what?!
So there you have it, 12 cozy mugs for Fall!
Which one can you see yourself sipping out of?
